I ended up trading in an old Touch for a Kindle 10. After discounts it was $20. AND using the $5 ebook credit towards another book in a series that is never discounted (Alexander Sheridan by V. A. Stewart). Also, a SmartPlug for $4.99 via Alexa. So, I've pretty much finished my shopping. As much as my gadget-brain wants another Echo, I don't actually need another Echo until one fails (I have 4!). But it's only $49!! But it's zero $$ if I don't buy it.
