EDIT: The missing zlib lib and kindletool binary is perfectly normal. It's designed to be shipped as the tarballs in data, MRPI itself silent unpacks the right version at runtime if needed.
Exact. And because done on Windows, the mrinstaller.sh shell had CR-LF line terminations, thus never ran.
