Over the past few years Best Buy, Target, Staples specifically -- and I assume others that I never checked -- have matched Amazon's sale prices for Amazon tablets and ereaders . This price matching wasn't just for Prime Day but for Black Fridays and all the occasional all-of-a-sudden 3 day type sales as well. These sales started and ended to the hour of the Amazon sales.
This Prime Day, none of those stores seems to have any matching of the Amazon prices. Anyone noticed anything different?
This is bad news for people like me who don't buy through Amazon but have taken advantage of the brick and mortar store price matching of Amazon sales.
