Definitely true. For people that don't not having a replaceable battery, they should just stick with the K1.

Personally, having just got a K1 I don't really see why so many have upgraded. The K2 looks nicer, but I don't see the added features being worth upgrading personally--16 vs 4 shades of grey is moot if you mostly read text, page turns are fast enough on the K1 IMO, and you lose the replacable battery and SD slot (though gain more internal memory).

That said, I'm glad so many upgraded since it allowed me to get a K1 in great shape for $200!
