Aside from the professional shows happening weekly at the various resorts, we also get many private displays. Mostly strings of literally thousands of fire crackers. During the big holidays like New Years (both calendar and lunar) the gun smoke hangs over the island like London fog, and the ERs brace for respiratory emergencies.
