Last time I looked, it's rather hard for an epub format ebook to be "recalled" once it has been downloaded to the enduser's computer/device. I suppose they could de-authorize the Adobe ID for every person who purchased the epub but that's going to be a whole can of legal worms.

And if you are like many in these forums, removing DRM and creating backup copies is just part of the download and cleanup process when obtaining an ebook.
