My Show5 arrived last week, and the setup was even easier than a regular Echo, no cellphone required as the WiFi happened locally on its own screen.
Resolution is not great, but adequate as I don't intend to watch any videos on it, sound is ok, about like a Dot and again, adequate as I'm no audiophile. I did not notice any difference in sensitivity to the Second Gen Echo it replaced despite having only two microphones.
All in all, I'm pleased at being able to see my Ring doorbell with just an "Alexa, show the front door" command.
The problem I have is I'd really like it to just show me the clock instead of cycling through all the things that Alexa can do. I really don't need to know how to make peanut butter cookies.
