You might still be able to get an adb root shell in the bootloop so if you get root and did these commands :
1.) adb shell
2.) su
3.) wipe data
4.) exit
5.) exit
6.) adb reboot

The reasoning for that is sometimes a bootloop is not a real bootloop but just the default system boot wallpaper or system image making it appear so.
