I guess I would have to use Wine on Linux to run ADE. (If it can still be made to work.) I do have Vista Windows partition on my laptop and that's what I've used for the few encrypted ePubs I've bought recently (I've been mostly shopping on Amazon because its easy to decrypt Kindle books). When I borrow from the library (with Overdrive) I just use one of my Tolinos for ePubs, they have ADE built-in.

There's instructions on installing ADE 2.x in Wine but I've never got around to doing it. I really don't want Wine on my Linux computers.

If worse comes to worse I can probably do it on one of my wife's Windows 10 computers. But I would rather not if I can avoid it.
