Washers and dryers are supposed to match? Ours are probably close to 20 years old each. I don't think they're even the same brand. We don't replace them until they break for good since it involves hauling them up the 13 steps from the basement on a narrow staircase where I have to take the railing off. Washer is older than the dryer but it's only needed minor repairs.
