Oh, wait a sec, that seems like an issue I've encountered before. Does it work through a hub (if your keyboard or monitor has USB ports, those count as hubs)?

Well, I guess I just suggested the long way around that. I was under the impression your USB ports weren't even being detected in the first place

I'd agree with that. Either way, I think you should install a SSH server on your Kobo so you don't have to open it up every time to transfer stuff. NiLuJe and I both have binaries for that (but I'd suggest going with NiLuJe's, as mine are packaged with my personal patches too).
