So...where do you buy your e-books from? If you are buying them over the Internet, then "Big Brother" "owns" you as much as they do me. I don't know of any e-book seller these days that doesn't store your purchases in the cloud...whether you connect your e-reader to the cloud or not, the books you've bought are still stored there. Or, do you download all of your books from Gutenberg?

As for being "so lazy" that I don't want to tether my e-reader to my computer (desktop, by the way, not laptop), I guess I can say "guilty". I don't see any reason to store all of my books on my reader, and I never know what I'm going to want to read. I do keep enough on my reader that I won't be stuck without a book if I'm in a place with no connectivity, but I don't want to be limited to them.
