Let me see if you understand this the same way that I do. For the first 3 months you pay $5.99 per month (half of the regular membership charge of $11.99) for your membership. During that period of time, you get one book credit and you pay only $5.99 for any additional audiobooks that you purchase. How do you see it?

If that is what they are saying, it sounds like it might be a good deal--if there are enough audiobooks in eStories' catalog that I would be interested in. But I think that I would have to call them and verify one item in particular--that you pay only $5.99 for any (no limit of) additional audiobooks that you purchase during the three months. (And while I'm on the phone with them, I would have to ask about what exactly the "limitations" are that "apply"?)

Okay. I found the definitive answer to my own question. I looked a little further on eStories' website, and this tells us what eStories did and didn't mean:
Enjoy 33% off additional audiobooks, discounted extra credits, access to exclusive promotions . . . ., confirming ApK's intuition.

Again, $5.99 per audiobook could be a good deal. I'll still have to check their catalog, and see what they've got and whether or not I can come up with at least 3 audiobooks that I want. I would definitely take a cue from tubemonkey, and use the calendar to keep track of when the promotion ends.
