For the Onyx ereaders, they're misleading people into thinking that the devices are shipping from Vancouver when they are in fact shipping from Hong Kong. Thus, some Canadian customers are getting hit with unexpected taxes and fees.

Onyx has promised to look into the matter to ensure that customers are fully aware of where their devices are shipping from and that they might therefore incur additional costs. But then they unlisted the thread where the issue had been raised so that it is now only available via direct link so who knows what will happen.
