Short Answer is no, it's from file name OR from format file.

What you're looking for is from file name AND get the rest from the format file.

But once you've added the book using the metadata from file name option you can use metadata edit to extract metadata details from the format file, viz:

I'm not sure if it will overwrite what was set when the book was added. I get author and title from file name. And I manually enter any other metadata into the book list immediately after I add the book to an Intake library, then I copy the book to the destination library.
