Yes. they stopped making 32-bit releases of their OS back in 2017, but this was about supporting 32-bit applications on their 64-bit OSes. You can install the multi-lib packages to support 32-bit binaries on 64-bit machines and THAT is what they were talking about eliminating (or "freezing").
