The technical issue you reported has now been fixed. If you haven’t registered your device yet, you can do so by following the steps below:
1. Press the Home button.
2. Press the Menu button. Make sure that wireless is turned on.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select register.
5. Enter your Amazon.com user name and password.
6. Select OK.
Tip: If your Amazon user name or password contains characters that are not on the Kindle keyboard, press the Symbol key to see additional characters.
