I have a bit different error message but problem is same: CANNOT send email from CALIBRE for some time (in the past it worked fine).
All I get when trying to use "TEST-EMAIL button" is this error message.
(It seems probably as well something in PYTHON, I was not able to find any solution in any other forum):
