Yes, they got rid of the original Coke in favor of New Coke. New Coke was a total disaster. One of the biggest flops ever. They quickly brought back the original and called it Coca Cola Classic. New Coke went away, never to be seen again. Or so we thought. Because of some TV show, you'll be able to get New Coke again for a time.
I well remember the whole mess, I was in middle school at the time.
