I've got a couple 32-bit laptops. They'll probably be worn out by 2023 (Latitude D400s were made in 2003, so that will make them 20 years old). But Ubuntu is not the only company in the Linux "business." I don't think everyone is dropping 32-bit. I'm pretty sure Debian (for one) won't.
