forgetting is not the same as forgiving.
i have no problems with germans or germany ; i think it's a beautiful country and i have many german friends.
but... "he who cannot remember the past, is doomed to repeat it" or something like that.
every country has some inglorious deeds in their past. we shouldn't become obsessed by them, but we should remember them, so we don't make the same mistakes again.
