For me it's not so much the thinness, but the tiny bezels. There's no need for a fat top bezel, but the rest of them should be comfortable to grip. I don't balance my readers on my palm like I do with my phone, I hold them by the edge (bottom or side bezel). So the nonexistent bezels are a no-no for me.
