AFAIR, none of the B&N Nook eInk ereaders allow adding fonts other than by embedding them in the epub file.

OTOH, I have now read comments/reviews that have stated the new Nook 7.8" is lighter than the Kobo Aura One or Kobo Forma—evidently, 297gms is now lighter than 230gms (KA1) or 197gms (KF), has a bigger screen than either Kobo product and that embedding fonts using calibre is a superior solution to Amazon or Kobo devices that allow you to sideload fonts making them available to any book that doesn't lock font selection.

Makes you appreciate Nate even more.
