This update came as I big surprise to mi madre. She was sync'ing to Calibre to grab some feeds and the update automatically came up. It seems that at least in her case, the update only triggered when she was physically linked up to a PC via a USB cable. One thing I'm not certain of is when exactly the download occurred. She has charged the unit via the wall outlet adapter several times already, and there was no notice of an update. Anyways, this all seemed very odd. I'm wondering if this update doesn't perhaps have hidden implementation for Amazon's policy change concerning TTS? Just a thought. Anyways, enjoy your books everyone. -Abi
