A '70's horror novel,

I've not read Marlys Millhiser before, but I love finding these old OOP horror novels back 'in print'. Looks like she wrote several horror novels in the '70's and then a couple of mystery novels. I've added her to my ereaderiq watchlist.

After the death of her husband, Lynnette has returned to her famine-plagued farming town to care for her widowed mother.
