Hi,
I made a terrible mistake a few moments ago when I had finished a long reply, Then posted it but only just before I hit 'back' key briefly seeing a message that said it was not posted so entire message lost.
With the problems with my Calibre Library I had to accept that the drive it was on caused the problems with a corruption which, it seems, was in the main Calibre librayr area. I have copied my entire Calibre libraries to another healthy drive. All my other libraries are OK. I have tried several rebuilds without success. Message below:
Corrupted database: The library database at H:\Calibre Portable\Calibre Library appears to be corrupted.
Do you want calibre to try and rebuild it automatically? The rebuild may not be completely successful.

CorruptError: CorruptError: database disk image is malformed
The actual library can be accessed by Windows file explorer and SQL Light Database inqiry. As this library contains several thousand items and is the most used I am now desparate. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
