Those bottom of the screen buttons are part of the launcher, not the app. If you change the launcher, the buttons will change. Meaning if you install the Google Now launcher or whatever, the Walmart button will go away.

I tried both the Microsoft and Nova (Pro) launchers and the Walmart button persists. Nor can you delete the preinstalled Walmart apps. They are considered system apps and can't be deleted without root.

Actually it's not the launcher you want to replace to get rid of the Walmart button. ADB is your friend. No root required, just ADB on your pc/mac and developer mode and USB debugging enabled on your tablet.

The app method worked for me. I'm glad it did as the walmart button was just a nuisance.
