IMO the price for a refurb 1st gen Paperwhite is $35 too high. I had that model and would not want to read on it now after seeing the improved lighting on the Paperwhite models that came after.
Our 2nd gen Paperwhite were vastly better as far as the lighting than the blotchy looking screen that the 1st gen Paperwhite had.
