I find the argument of 'I prefer buying the books on Safari anyway..." to be a weak argument. There is nothing stopping any tablet user on any major OS (Windows, Android, iOS) from using the browser rather than the app.
But there's only one OS where that's required.
Sure, maybe it's not something
you're bothered by. But it can't honestly be framed as anything other than a disadvantage, regardless.
