Nope...but I might well have. There are a good number of use cases this technology AS PRESENTED would be terrific.
It’s just nowhere near “mass market tablet” ready. And may never be.
Take the text book use case. Is it the screens that have hindered the adoption of iPads in the classroom? No. Is it the price? Only partially. Mostly it’s the form factor of a tablet isn’t as useful overall and Chrome books have stolen the educational market.
Will ClearInk change ANYTHING about this situation? Not at all...,not unless it’s Apple itself that adopts it. Schools don’t need devices, they need systems. That’s why cheap Android tablets have found no foothold at all...and it’s why I say that the price of the iPad is only partially responsible for its failure to truly take off in the education market.
If you can only have one device....you need a keyboard, web driven device. If you can expect students to have a PC at home or in the classroom...AND you can afford iPads too....then you will get iPads.
