The Note Pro doesn't seem to have this issue on the 2.0.1 firmware in the Notes application. I can scribble all the way to the edge of the screen and make zig zags up and down the edge without the inking jump. Its not the Note 10.3 but it'd be surprising if the Note 10.3 had this issue but the Pro didn't. Sounds like the device is defective, it'd be worth trading it in for a new one just in case while you still can with Amazon
