I'm trying to get the illustrations of Adolphe Lalauze for the Thousand and One Nights. In the Internet Archive I find basically two versions:
One in 4 volumes:
Vol. 1:
https://archive.org/details/lesmilleunenuits01gall/
Vol. 3:
https://archive.org/details/lesmilleunenuits03gall_0/
Vol: 4:
https://archive.org/details/lesmilleunenuits04gall/
One in 10 volumes:
Vol. 2:
https://archive.org/details/lesmilleunenuits02gall/
Vol. 3:
https://archive.org/details/lesmilleunenuits03gall/
Vol. 5:
https://archive.org/details/lesmilleunenuits05gall/
Vol. 6:
https://archive.org/details/lesmilleunenuits06gall/
Vol. 7:
https://archive.org/details/lesmilleunenuits07gall/
Vol. 8:
https://archive.org/details/lesmilleunenuits08gall/
Vol. 9:
https://archive.org/details/lesmilleunenuits09gall/
Vol. 10:
https://archive.org/details/lesmilleunenuits10gall/
The title pages look almost the same, but the 10-volume one has red ink and says "Vingt et une eaux-fortes par Ad. Lalauze", and the other one doesn't (but still has the illustrations).
As you can see, some volumes are missing, and the annoying part is that the two illustrations (according to the list given at the end of vol. 10) that would be in vol. 4 (of the 10-vol edition), should be in vol. 2 (of the 4-vol edition), and both are missing.
I've tried searching Hathi Trust, and Gallica, but I can't find any usable replacement. Can anyone find the missing volumes or, at least, the corresponding illustrations? These should be:
Histoire du second frère du barbier -- Nuit CLXXII
Histoire d'Aboulhassan -- Nuit CCIV
