@stumped : FBReader is my first choice. So that is OK.

I added the meta data to the ComicInfo.xml file in the CBZ file. But in scenario one I am still required to convert to ePub (otherwise no book will be uploaded), and no meta data is stored in the ePub file, also zooming is not possible when following this scenario. And in scenario two it seems that FBReader is not reading the xml file.

So I tried a new scenario three: I copied the modified CBZ file from my PC to my phone. Then I opened it with ComicRack. The CBZ is zoomable, and the metadata is available. But since Calibre is not pushing the CBZ file to my Android, and downloading it from the Content Server gives an error "file content type (or something...)". So the only thing missing now is to find a way from within Calibre to upload to ComicRack, or have ComicRack on Android connect to Calibe... Or... ??
