Respect? What they are showing is having folks here drooling for a tablet...but what they are showing is NOWHERE EVEN CLOSE to the needs of even a tablet aimed at text books. And nobody is going to choose such a tablet over other tablets with great screens.

Battery life just isn’t that big a deal once “all day” is reached...compared to not being able to see full color photos.

We already know that, far and away, most people have no trouble reading on tablets. Some do...thus a NICHE might put up with a terrible colors.

We already have single purpose readers based on eInk. So the “I want to read ebooks but don’t like tablets and don’t need color” niche is filled.

So you have an even smaller target market to entice those who can’t stand a modern tablet screen and eInk isn’t filling their needs....and while they need color, only a crappy amount of color.

This is not the makings of a mass market product...UNTIL...they can come up with photo quality color AT video rates.

And if they had that...they’d show it. That they are going to market with this level of color....means they aren’t close to having it
