So just played with one in the store.

It's nice, but not sure if I really want something that size. That picture was real, so the side bezels are much smaller than on the GL3.
It feels light. but that's hard to gauge that when the device is tethered in the store.
But once it is in a case, it would be bigger and heavier.
I was comparing it to the GL3 right next to it, trying to see what the increased resolution means. I don't have a great eye for this stuff, as it may have been slightly sharper, but I'm not really sure.
It has a new level of software: 50.0.
The storage is listed as: 6.22 of 6.42 available. (So no partitioning, it seems.)
The developer tools are still accessible through the nook icon.
(And as noone but me cares, the browser is still hidden.)
