With a Kindle, how do you get to Overdrive?

With a Kobo, you just browse directly on your device and add the books. Here are instructions from Overdrive's site. Clearly steps 1-6 are a first time thing. Point is, you do all this without need of any PC: How to borrow OverDrive ebooks on your Kobo ereader

The equivalent page for Kindles on Overdrive seems to imply that you need to use a web browser first (unless these instructions are out of date): Getting started with Kindle Books from your library
