Thanks for digging into it. The body font isn't that big of a deal, I was mainly just curious and was wondering if I'd overlooked something. If it really mattered I'd install koreader on my kobo; at the moment it's only on a piece of junk Boox Note Pro whose built in reader doesn't even do embedded fonts on epubs.
