FWIW, I recall reading "The Tribe" back in the day and liking it. Author Bari Wood turned out a number of well-regarded novels, including "Twins" (which was the basis of the Cronenberg film "Dead Ringers").
The 5th book in the Paperbacks From Hell series will be
"The Spirit" by Thomas Page.
Hopefully the price on all these titles will drop eventually.
