I haven't got the faintest idea how to do this, I merely adapted the website code for epub3 books. (I won't use drop caps CSS, until
initial-letter becomes widely adopted.)

I didn't mention this issue, because I assumed that it'd be obvious to ebook designers familiar with pseudo selectors.
