Assuming that the position of the power button is the same on the Max2 as it is on the Max1, then, yes, their protective case resolves that issue.

If you had it on your lap and you leaned forward with your stomach pressing against the bottom edge... now that would be another matter altogether.

But with the Max sitting vertically on a hard surface, accidental power on/off issues are a thing of the past with the protective cover.
