i call this time of year "first hit of spring crack" and then of course you've got weeks or months of withdrawal while winter digs its nails in and refuses to go quietly...

In prime time TV, in relation to my previous post above, they just issued a "WOOP! WOOP!" Severe Tropical Cyclone warning message. It basically repeats the stuff at a couple of the links in my previous post (we're still 48 hours away, if it keeps coming, and they're predicting it'll be down to Category 3 by then), but...yeah, that's new.
