Device: Kobo Aura H2O
Would it be possible to send me a copy of the Kobo Aura H2O factory SD image? (not 2nd edition)

I bought the device last week off eBay "for spare parts". The previous owner just gave up after the device stopped responding - battery is charging OK, screen blinks on reset, but remains white after that. So he went to a service center to unbrick it (instead of simply resetting it).

In this way the device came to me after what seemed to be disastrous service "repair".

Here is the last owner's description of this "repair". The "repair guy" had directly ripped open the device (obviously he knew at least that there is an SD card there!), extracted the factory card, put it in a card reader under Windows, and since Windows promptly reported to format it... he formatted it! Putting this card back into the device, of course, did not work, so he declared the SD Card a total loss and threw it away! Then sold a brand new 4GB SD card to the owner, formatted it too (as a single FAT32 partition) and put it in the device. The result was... At that moment the repair guy declared the device a total loss too and thus it went off to eBay

In this way now I have on my hand a device with working hardware but no firmware at all (but with a bonus blank 4GB Class 10 SD Card) where the Serial Number for the device is lost after throwing away the old card.

Is it possible to somehow repair the reader at this point using a modded factory SD Image?
