Is there any way to do this?

What I've learned is that buying iBooks is a stupid, narrow, limiting thing when they restrict it to only Apple devices. I really hate that and will only buy Amazon books from here on out.

In the meantime, is there a reasonable way to do what I want to do?
I'm not on a Mac, but I think you just need to email the .mobi file to your kindle email address. This puts it into your Kindle cloud and all kindle apps should sync to that. However, I'm not sure if the kindle app on a PC/Mac will work with these doc files (which is how Amazon defines them in the Kindle cloud).
