What's a Pinterest? (Kidding, but believe me, I had NO idea they were a thing!) Sunlight not an issue, it's not around that long anyway. Gets carbolized and then extracted in coconut oil in the 'magic butter' machine. I'm an asthmatic, so no way I'm inhaling anything! Besides, for my uses of CBD, ingestion or sublingual are preferred.

Also, in the states if you call the mail order Rx company they will ship your Rx with a non-childproof lid. I did that for mom's, she just couldn't do them any more with the arthritis in her hands. They do ask for a couple extra days to get the prescription out when you call for a refill. Her Rx company is Express Scripts, but I'm sure any of them would do it.
Yes, the local pharmacy always gives us old fashioned snap tops. No child-proof needed.

Yes, both Mason and Ball are still very popular and used by lots of us. Ball tends to be a bit bigger up here, but both are around. And every supermarket has them all year round. Lots of secondary uses, and canning is still very much a part of how Canadians do things, especially away from the big city. Frankly, I'm more likely to use them to put stock, or pasta sauce or whatever in, and then freeze the stock or sauce. I don't really pressure can, but freezer can.
