If you aren't getting the in-book stats when reading, it means the books aren't kepubs. Check that the format in the book list shows as "Kobo epub". If it doesn't, then you need to work out why the books weren't loaded as kepubs. I just checked a book now, and the plugin has worked for me and the book shows the statistics.

The likely reasons are:
  • Extended driver disabled.
  • Extended features option turned off.
  • Problem in the books that mean they don't get transformed to kepubs. Turn off the "Silently Ignore Failed Conversions" to see any errors.
  • DRM protected book not being transformed. Again, turn of the option and see what happens.

And if all else fails, run calibre in debug mode and post the log.
