macOS - open file directly in E-book Viewer

Does anyone happen to know of a way to open an ebook in the viewer simply by double clicking the icon in the macOS Finder?

The default action when opening an ebook file is to add to document to the Calibre library. When I change the default application to ebook-viewer.app in the Get Info dialogue I get the the following error when trying to open the book:

ERROR: Could not open e-book: [Errno 2] No such file or directory

Thanks so much.
