I want to thank everyone who helped me here by posting in this thread.

I've made my mind up...

I ordered the Kindle Oasis 2 from Amazon.

I know I know this was all about Kobo but I think I did mention that the Kindle Oasis 2 was one of my possible choices. I do admit that I was really trying to avoid it though due to the higher price but I had a relative pony up some additional Amazon gift card money and that made it much more financially feasible for me.

So again, thanks for all the helpful info and I'll probably see you all in the Kindle and Calibre sections here
