I had a n96ml and the battery was dead within a year. (It was used though to be fair.) Problem is that onyx refuse to post replacement batteries, apparently due to the cost. Shame because the cost of the batteries themselves is trivial.
My number one feature request (well perhaps number 2 after pure a2 mode) is for onyx to use user replaceable batteries.
