The Darlington Letters by Tracy/Teresa Grant is a recent (2018) title in the Charles and Mélanie Fraser/Malcolm and Suzanne Rannoch series, which confusingly started with the Frasers, then due to publisher issues continued with the same characters, but renamed as the Rannochs, and then continued at some point as what may be self-pub (NYLA?).

I've read pretty much all of the titles in this series so far (not going to swear I haven't missed one or two), and have enjoyed them all. So although I haven't read this one, which I haven't seen on sale before, I'm posting it because it's free as the BN Readout of the weekend, and if I wait until I have a chance to read it and vouch for it specifically, it probably won't be free anymore. If this offends the moderators too much, that I haven't had time to read it yet, and they are not willing to consider that I have read and liked the rest of the series, then they can please just delete my post.

The BN Readout free price has not yet been matched at Kindle US or Kobo US, but it usually does get matched sometime over the weekend, so if you prefer those retailers, you can keep an eye out. Also, if you prefer Kobo, you can also use the Kobo price match - I've done this maybe 15 or 20 times, and have always gotten the promised refund - although I do keep screenshots of everything, and did have to use them one time when the refund was initially refused.

Anyway, here is info on The Darlington Letters:

Glittering chandeliers reveal dark secrets…

Former spies and London society favorites Malcolm and Mélanie Suzanne Rannoch are back home, and delighted that their dear friends, Raoul O'Roarke and Laura Tarrington, are finally free to marry. But what should be an occasion for joy is soon marred by a blackmail attempt. To aid an old friend, the Rannochs must resume a life of espionage and adventure, facing an attack at the London docks and infiltrating a Mayfair ball in disguise to retrieve stolen letters. They soon realize the stolen documents they seek could upend the British government—and the secrets Malcolm and Mélanie uncover hit unexpectedly—and dangerously—close to home…
