Hi,

I am trying to convert an azw3 file downloaded from Amazon using the "Download & transfer via USB" method, in Calibre. I have the DeDRM plugin installed, but keep getting the message that this file is DRM protected.

I've read all the info about using Kindle for PC/Mac 1.17, but is this necessary when I am downloading the file from Amazon using the "Download & transfer via USB" method?

Will it be possible to convert this file?
